This is a brand new add-on called the Inventory Tweaks Add-on. This addon lets you access any amount of the existing blocks and items in Minecraft while in survival mode. You’ll basically be able to have full access to the creative inventory while in survival mode and vice versa. As much as it’s useful for single player use, there’s no denying that it can also be used for malicious intent. But don’t worry, further down on this page you will find information how to protect your server against possible misuse.
How to use?
The first thing you’ll need to do (assuming you are using a tablet or a smartphone and not a computer) is to set the user interface profile in Settings to Classic. Press the inventory button to view a list of available inventories. It’s only the creative and survival inventory which work at this point. But hopefully more will be added in the upcoming future. I was in survival mode all the time when testing this addon. You can see that by checking the inventory hotbar and see that numbers are displayed for total items. But it doesn’t really matter which gamemode you’ve enabled since it works for any of them. By switching to Survival Inventory you’ll be able to see all of the items you’ve in your player inventory.
